We are glad to announce the post-conference filed-trip sessions entitled “Unconventional sources of hydrocarbons: multidisciplinary research”, which will be held in Anapa, Krasnodar region, on 07-10 July 2019. During the filed-trip sessions and round tables the following topics will be discussed:
The participants of the field sessions will have a unique opportunity to study the structure of the Mesozoic-Cenozoic oil and gas sedimentary complexes of the Black sea on the example of the Taman Peninsula sections. Together with leading experts in the field of oil and gas Geology, you will consider the relationship of oil and gas systems with the tectonic characteristics of the region (Indolo-Kuban deflection) and get acquainted with the sources, reservoirs and traps of deposits of Triassic-Neogene age – direct analogues of modern deep water strata of the Black sea. You will study mud volcanoes of the Taman Peninsula, learn about their types and structure, composition of hydrocarbons and products of their eruptions, as well as about the lithological characteristics of mud breccias.
